Graduation Etiquette – Ladies Edition
With May coming up some of us are either graduating or attending a graduation. As you probably know these ceremonies are all about looking glamorous and definitely comfort. Since there will be a lot of standing and clapping, you ought to make sure you are all set for this. Well, Fit&style has a small checklist to go over before your ceremony!
1.Cute but conservative
Most of the ladies opt for a cute short dress for their graduation. If you want to be a little outside the box choose a jumper or a cute romper. Whatever piece you choose, keep in mind that there will be a lot of grandparents and elderly relatives at this ceremony, thus keep it classy. Another factor to consider is the best outfit for your body type. There will be a lot of pictures taken that day and you want to look best and feel great at the same time. 2.Shoes Shoes Shoes
Considering how long your graduation gown is, shoes are the only fashion pieces to show off! You will be walking and standing for a long time, make sure you know whether or not this is an outside ceremony. All that said, it is vital to pick something fairly comfortable, maybe a pair of block heels or wedges instead of stilettos.
3. Blings
Keep accessories as minimal as possible, there are already a cap and a gown, a tassel and sash you don’t want anything getting tangled. If you have your hair up, opt for studs and if you decide to have your hair down, pick a teardrop to match your outfit.

4.Keep it natural
My last advice is to try not to pile up too much makeup! especially if you are going to be outside. Start out with a lighter layer of lipstick and if you are going to an after party, add a smoky eye or a darker shade on your lips.

If you do not find street parking in front, we have parking behind our building. This parking can be accessed from the alley south of Main St. When heading south on PCH turn right just before the Subway When on Main street turn into the alley between The Studio and Pet Laundry then the first left up the adjacent alley heading towards PCH. There is a door that will lead you to the front of the building and to our store front.
